PPGI (Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel) coil, also known as color-coated coil, is a high-value-added product that combines the corrosion resistance of galvanized steel with the aesthetic appeal of a durable paint finish. Produced through a continuous coating process, the galvanized steel substrate is cleaned, chemically treated, and coated with one or more layers of organic paint (such as polyester or PVDF), which is then baked and cured. The result is a versatile, attractive, and long-lasting material ideal for both functional and decorative applications where appearance and durability matter.
Paint System Types:
Polyester (PE): Standard economic coating, good formability and color retention.
Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP): Enhanced durability and chalk resistance.
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF): Premium coating (70% or 80% PVDF), exceptional weather resistance and color stability.
High-Durability Polyester (HDP): Superior durability between SMP and PVDF.

    PPGI Coil, also known as Prepainted Galvanized Steel Coil, is a composite metal material manufactured by coating high-quality galvanized steel sheets (hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized) with multiple layers of organic coatings through advanced roller coating technology. The product integrates the corrosion resistance of the galvanized zinc layer and the decorative performance of the organic coating, while retaining the high strength and good processability of steel. Unlike traditional galvanized coils, PPGI Coils do not require on-site painting, which greatly improves construction efficiency, reduces labor costs, and avoids environmental pollution caused by on-site spraying. With a service life of 15-30 years (3 times longer than ordinary galvanized sheets), our PPGI Coils are a cost-effective and sustainable solution for various projects.
